Russia to limit sunflower exports until processing plants fully stocked - agriculture minister

ST. PETERSBURG. June 16 (Interfax) - Russian will limit sunflower exports until domestic processing enterprises are fully stocked with raw materials, Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev said in a statement.

"The current export measure [the export duty on sunflower seeds], which is aimed at developing domestic processing of oilseeds, remains relevant. We plan to extend the duty until we ensure the full stocks of our oil and fat enterprises," Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev told reporters on the sidelines of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2023.
