Dnieper level drops by 20cm in half-day, 1,800 houses remain flooded over - Ukraine's State Emergency Service
MOSCOW. June 15 (Interfax) - The water level in the Dnieper river stands at 1.62 meters as of 2 p.m., the Ukrainian media reported on Thursday, citing the website of the State Emergency Service.
Twenty towns (1,807 houses) on the Kiev-controlled right bank and 17 on the left one remain flooded, the report said.
It was reported that by 8 a.m. this morning Dnieper water levels in Kherson stood at 1.82 meters and 27 settlements on the right-bank side of Kherson region and 17 on the left bank remained under water.
