Canada opens its market for Ukrainian dairy products

MOSCOW. June 14 (Interfax) - Canada has opened its market for Ukrainian products, particularly for milk and dairy products, Ukrainian media reported, citing the press service for the Ukrainian State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

"Thanks to the joint efforts of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection and the Foreign Ministry, a new market for the sale of Ukrainian products, namely milk and dairy products to Canada has been opened," the statement said.

The explanations to the Canadian regulations regarding the producers of dairy products and specified in the zoo-sanitary certificate are published on the official website of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

To start the export of food products a market operator must apply to the territorial office of the service at the location of its production facilities.
