Ireland's Kingspan Group implementing major investment project in Ukraine

MOSCOW. June 14 (Interfax) - Ukraine will facilitate the creation of the infrastructure for the operations of an industrial facility of Ireland's Kingspan Group, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.

"The Irish company Kingspan Group is implementing a major investment project worth over $280 million in Ukraine. We have discussed with the management of the company the details of its implementation in accordance with the law on state support to investment projects with significant investments. The UkraineInvest government office is assisting with the project," Ukrainian media outlets quoted the premier as saying on social networks.

The creation of over 700 jobs is an important element of the project, he said.

"Kingspan is one of the largest investors to come to Ukraine during the crisis. The company is a world leader in the production of high-tech energy-efficient construction materials. Ukraine will need them for its recovery. It will also help raise the production process standards in Ukraine to the level of the best world practices," Shmygal said.
