Six Ukrainian universities enter Impact Rankings 1,000 most stable universities

MOSCOW. June 8 (Interfax) - Six Ukrainian universities have made it to the top 1,000 most stable universities according to the annual Impact Rankings of the Times Higher Education UK rating agency.

"This year, the agency rated 1,591 universities from 112 countries, including 32 Ukrainian universities, which is the largest number of higher education institutions represented in the Times Higher Education rankings," Ukrainian media quoted the press service for Ukraine's Education and Science Ministry as saying.

Among Ukrainian universities, the list of the 1,000 most stable universities includes Sumy State University (rank 301-400), Lvov Polytechnic University (rank 401-600), Kiev National University of Economics after Vadim Getman (rank 801-1,000), Kharkov Polytechnic Institute (rank 801-1,000), Uzhgorod National University (rank 801-1,000), and Zhitomir Polytechnic University (rank 801-1,000).

Higher education institutions with the greatest successes in terms of the Sustainable Development Goals have also been included in the Impact Rankings.

"Also, we'd like to note that the Sumy National Agrarian University is the only agrarian higher education establishment that has made it to the Impact Rankings," the ministry said.
