Uranium One Group has new president, formerly of Techsnabexport

MOSCOW. June 7 (Interfax) - Pavel Larionov, Deputy General Director for Economics and Production Management of Techsnabexport, has become the new head of the uranium mining company Uranium One Group, the company said.

"[The former head of the company] Andrey Shutov left the post of president of the company and will be engaged in his own projects in related industries," the report says.

Shutov was appointed head of Uranium One Group in 2020, before which he was the company's VP of operations.

The new head of the structure, Pavel Larionov, since 2019 "was the Deputy General Director of JSC Techsnabexport, oversaw the development of product strategies, the development of foreign markets for promising products, issues of building industrial cooperation chains, including the management and development of international uranium mining assets in Kazakhstan," the announcement said.

The Uranium One Group is one of an international group of companies under the jurisdiction of the TENEX group, part of Russian state corporation Rosatom.
