Rosseti plans to increase debt burden in 2023 amid requirements for BAM-2, weak EBITDA dynamics

MOSCOW. June 6 (Interfax) - PJSC Rosseti plans to raise more than 100 billion rubles in loan proceeds this year in order to finance power supply projects for expanding the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM) and the Transsib mainline, the power grid holding said in its draft annual report.

Rosseti's plans concern the projected increase in its debt burden. Specifically, the debt/EBITDA multiplier should rise amid large borrowings, a decline in the volume of liquid assets, and an insubstantial rate of growth in EBITDA, according to the company's draft annual report.
