Ozon plans to enter Armenian market in autumn

MOSCOW. June 6 (Interfax) - Ozon plans to enter the Armenian market in the autumn of this year, Sergei Goncharov, head of the Ozon marketplace, said at the annual Ozon COM.E On forum for entrepreneurs.

"The company plans to open a local marketplace and build its own logistics infrastructure in the country. The marketplace will also actively attract local sellers who will be able to sell through Ozon both in Armenia and in Russia," Ozon said in a press release on Tuesday.

Armenia will be the fourth CIS country that Ozon has entered since 2021. Ozon is present on the markets of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. The company is also developing its business in Turkey and China.
