U.S. to deliver an additional $37 mln in cyber assistance to Ukraine

MOSCOW. June 6 (Interfax) - The United States will help Ukraine further strengthen its cyber resilience, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister of Innovations, Education, Science and Technology Development and Digital Transformation Minister Mikhail Fyodorov said.

"The U.S. is providing $37 million in cyber assistance to Ukraine. This decision was announced by the American delegation during the U.S.-Ukraine Cyber Dialogue in Tallinn," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Fyodorov as saying in a social media post.

Advancing Ukraine's cyber resilience is a priority for the Digital Transformation Ministry, he said.

"We continue to bolster our cybersecurity and to draw investments. That is why, the digital state withstood and continued to develop during the world's first cyber crisis," he said.

Fyodorov thanked partners for their support and contribution to Ukraine's digital security, promising that Ukraine will continue to work on digital resilience along with the U.S.

The U.S. has provided $120 million in cybersecurity assistance to Ukraine since 2016, including $82 million since February 2022, Fyodorov said.
