Inspections of vessels resume as part of Black Sea Grain Initiative - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. June 5 (Interfax) - Inspections of vessels have resumed as part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin said on Monday.

"The inspections have resumed", Vershinin told reporters in Moscow when commenting on UN reports about the absence of grain deal inspections on June 1-2.

"To our knowledge, the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul is working to deal with problems connected with the procedure which was unanimously approved last year and envisaged problem-solving by consensus," Vershinin said.
