Peskov on OPEC+ meeting: Russia member of joint understanding, agreements were reached that everyone will follow
MOSCOW. June 5 (Interfax) - Everyone will follow the agreements reached at the recent OPEC+ meeting, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
Journalists asked Peskov how the Kremlin evaluates the results of the meeting and whether Russia is satisfied with current oil prices.
"Russia is a member of this joint understanding. The [OPEC+] format is continuing its work; there are general agreements that everyone will follow, of course," Peskov said.
The OPEC+ format "undoubtedly remains important and significant for ensuring stability in international energy markets," he said.
