Zelensky says ready to come to Latin America to meet with heads of state

MOSCOW. June 5 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has said he might visit Latin America to meet with the leaders of some countries there.

"It's very hard for me to do that. But I am ready. I said, let's arrange my meeting with leaders of your continent. I am ready to arrive, I want to speak to them," Ukrainian media quoted Zelensky as saying in an interview with Latin American media outlets published by the Ukrainian presidential office on Saturday.

"If you're unable to come to us, no problem, I don't wear a crown, I am a very plain man, and I'll come to you. Let's talk over our steps forward," he said.

If Latin American countries cannot provide weapons to Ukraine, they could support its "peace formula, could offer humanitarian support to its people," he said.
