Norway to send NOK 75 bln in assistance to Ukraine over 5 years

MOSCOW. June 1 (Interfax) - Ukraine will receive military, humanitarian and civilian assistance from Norway totaling 75 billion Norwegian kroner, or about 6.8 billion euros, over a period of five years, Norwegian Prime Minister Gahr Store said at a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Oslo.

"We will support Ukraine for as long as necessary. Under the Nansen Support Program for Ukraine, Norway will provide military, humanitarian and civilian support totaling NOK 75 billion over a period of five years," Ukrainian media quoted Store as saying in a statement circulated by the Norwegian government's press service.
