Pashinyan to go to Chisinau on Wednesday, meet with Aliyev on Thursday

YEREVAN. May 31 (Interfax) - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will begin a working visit to Moldova on Wednesday and will meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Chisinau on June 1.

"Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has departed for Moldova on a working visit [scheduled for] May 31 - June 2. While in Chisinau, Pashinyan will attend the second summit of the European Political Community," the Armenian government's press service said.

In addition, Chisinau will host a five-sided meeting of the Armenian prime minister, the French president, the German chancellor, the European Council president and the Azerbaijani president.

Pashinyan held his latest meeting with Aliyev in Moscow on May 25, together with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He told the Armenian parliament on May 29 that the trilateral meeting in Moscow brought unsatisfactory results.

He also ruled out the possibility of signing a peace agreement with Azerbaijan in Chisinau on June 1.
