Pilot operation of power unit No.2 at BelNPP begins - Belarusian Energy Minisitry

MINSK. May 31 (Interfax) - Power unit No.2 at the Belarusian NPP has been put into pilot operation with a planned increase in reactor capacity up to 100%, the Energy Ministry of Belarus said in a statement.

"At the BelNPP, the stage of pilot operation of power unit No.2 has begun. The relevant permit was issued by Gosatomnadzor the day before. The pilot operation stage envisages a gradual increase in the reactor power unit capacity from 50% to 100%," the statement reads.
