Ukrainian Health Ministry fulfills 70% of obligations under EU-Ukraine Association Agreement

MOSCOW. May 30 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Health Ministry has fulfilled 70% of obligations envisaged by the European Union-Ukraine Association Agreement in the healthcare sector, which is 4% more than in 2022, Ukrainian media outlets reported, citing the Health Ministry, which, in turn, quoted the Agreement Pulse information and analytical system for the agreement implementation monitoring.

"The implementation percent has increased thanks to the completion of work on a number of European integration regulatory legal acts in the healthcare sector. In particular, in the regulation of social policy and labor relations, sanitary and phytosanitary measures, as well as in public healthcare. Every introduced directive, every completed and implemented provision of the agreement is another step to increasing the duration and quality of life by means of preserving the Ukrainians' health," Marina Slobodnichenko, deputy health minister for European integration, said.
