Rosatom head, IAEA director-general discuss Zaporozhye NPP security - corporation

MOSCOW. May 24 (Interfax) - Alexei Likhachev, the head of Russia's Rosatom state corporation, and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director-General Rafael Grossi discussed ensuring security at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant at a meeting in Beijing, and have agreed to continue their dialogue.

"Likhachev and Grossi continued their dialogue, which has recently become a regular one, to address current issues in the interaction between Russia and the agency. They highlighted the work of the IAEA mission at the premises of the Zaporozhye NPP and ensuring security at the plant in general," Rosatom said on Telegram.

The IAEA head briefed Likhachev "on the implementation of his respective initiative," it said.

The sides reached agreement on "holding the next full-scale meeting," Rosatom added.
