Ukraine, Morocco negotiating trade, visa facilitation

MOSCOW. May 23 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba has had talks with the Kingdom of Morocco's Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita in Rabat and agreed with him to hold talks on the facilitation of trade and visa regulations between the countries.

The foreign ministers discussed food security in Africa, Ukrainian media outlets said, citing the press service for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. The parties stated the need for further unhindered operations of the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

The ministers agreed to hold talks on the facilitation of trade in order to determine the promising tracks of economic cooperation, increase the amount of trade and revitalize direct contacts between businesses, as well as talks on the facilitation of visa regulations.

Cooperation in education became a separate subject of the talks. The relevant agencies are working to resolve problems of Moroccan students who were forced to leave Ukraine due to the crisis.

In addition, it was reported that Rabat intends to resume operations of its embassy in Kiev.
