Growth in Russian energy supplies to China reaches 40% in 2023
SHANGHAI. May 23 (Interfax) - Russia has continued to boost energy supplies to China, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said in a statement.
"In terms of energy, this is one of the main areas for developing cooperation with China. A wide range of issues on cooperation, not only on supplying energy resources, which are growing in large volumes, and grew significantly in 2022, and growth has been approximately another 40% in 2023," Novak said during a meeting between Russia's prime minister and Russian business circles in Shanghai.
"However, most importantly, we are currently working on issues with our partners in order to participate jointly in supplying the lacking technological equipment," Novak added.
