Russian businessman Kesaev included in SDN List, sanctions lifted from Karachinsky

MOSCOW. May 19 (Interfax) - Igor Kesaev, a major co-owner of the Mercury group which manages the Red and White and Bristol retail chains and the Megapolis tobacco distributor, has been added to the U.S. sanctions list.

The U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) said its SDN List now included the companies Family Office LLC, FO-Management LLC, IK-Management LLC, Iksora LLC, Mercury Services LLC and Trust Kong LLC as entities related to Kesaev.

IBS group founder Anatoly Karachinsky, sanctioned last year as a member of the board of directors of Otkritie Bank, was removed from the SDN List.
