Yerevan Brandy Company halts exports to Russia - Armenian economy minister

YEREVAN. May 18 (Interfax) - The Yerevan Brandy Company owned by France's Pernod Ricard has halted exports of its products to Russia, Armenian Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan said.

"I haven't yet received official information, but it appears to now be official that the Yerevan Brandy Company will halt exports to Russia. This is a problem that will affect procurement [of grapes from local farmers]," Kerobyan said at a meeting of the parliamentary Committee on Economic Affairs on Thursday.

Russia accounted for over 80% of the Yerevan Brandy Company's exports.
