Ukraine and S. Africa plan to lift visa rules for diplomatic passport holders

MOSCOW. May 17 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has approved a draft agreement with South African on cancelling visa requirements for the holders of diplomatic, service and official passports.

This decision was adopted at a government meeting on Tuesday, Ukrainian media said, citing the government's representative to the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.

The document lifts the visa rules for Ukrainian citizens with diplomatic and service passports for stays in South Africa of up to 90 days and for South African holders of diplomatic, service and official passports for stays in Ukraine of up to 90 days within a 180-day period.
