Cavusoglu and Lavrov discuss grain deal, Syria, Ukraine - media

ANKARA. May 10 (Interfax) - Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov discussed the grain deal and Ukraine at a meeting in Moscow on Wednesday.

"Discussed [with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov] developments in Syria, Caucasus, Ukraine and Grain Deal," Turkish media quoted Cavusoglu as saying.

Cavusoglu and Lavrov met ahead of the talks of the Russian, Turkish, Syrian and Iranian foreign ministers in Moscow on Wednesday, according to media reports.

"At Foreign Ministers' quadripartite meeting on Syria, [the Turkish side] stressed the need for cooperation in the fight against terrorism, working together to establish the basis for returns of Syrians, taking political process in Syria forward, protection of Syria's territorial integrity," Turkish media outlets quoted Cavusoglu as saying in a social media post.

Russia, Turkey and Iran are the guarantors of the peaceful settlement process in Syria.
