Naftogaz Group pays nearly 33 bln hryvni in taxes to Ukrainian budget for January-April

MOSCOW. May 10 (Interfax) - Naftogaz of Ukraine has paid more than 30 billion hryvni, or in taxes to the country's budget for the first four months of 2023, accounting to 15% of all of the budget's tax revenues over this period.

Naftogaz Group has paid nearly 33 billion hryvni to the state and local budgets as of May 1, Ukrainian media said on Monday, citing the company's website.

"Naftogaz Group remains one of the largest taxpayers in Ukraine, being a reliable support for the state treasury. In April alone, we accumulated UAH 6.2 billion in taxes, which is almost 13% of all tax revenues to the state budget," Naftogaz CEO Alexei Chernyshov said.

As reported, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya, which is fully owned by Naftogaz, transferred 6.32 billion hryvni in rental payments to the country's consolidated budget for January-March 2023.
