Lenta delists its GDRs from LSE

MOSCOW. May 4 (Interfax) - The retailer Lenta has terminated its Global Depositary Receipts (GDR) listing on the London Stock Exchange, a company release says.

The decision to terminate is due to the expiration of the Russian government permit, which the company received for a year in May 2022.

The retailer announced the planned delisting at the end of March this year.

Lenta has been trading on the LSE since February 2014. Its securities, shares and GDRs, are currently traded on the Moscow Exchange.

Lenta is Russia's fourth largest retailer in terms of revenue and the largest hypermarket chain. The company's shares are traded on the Moscow Stock Exchange, and GDRs on the London Stock Exchange and in Moscow. The largest shareholder in Lenta is Alexei Mordashov's Severgroup. The free float is about 21%.
