Delo Group acquires Rolis from Global Ports, consolidates IT assets under Delotech banner

MOSCOW. May 3 (Interfax) - Delotech, a subsidiary of parent group Delo involved in digital technology development, has purchased the Rolis IT Company, with Delo holding 61.5% of the assets, the group said.

"The deal is part of the Delo Group's plan to merge IT assets. Rolis will become the basis for consolidating expertise in the field of digitalizing container terminals. The Rolis team as part of Delotech will continue to support the operation of all existing IT services and will create new products for the information technology architecture of Global Ports and other clients.

The amount of the transaction was not disclosed inside the group.

The inclusion of Rolis into Delotech will simplify the corporate structure, optimize the costs for developing and maintaining information systems, and will allow for the building of a unified IT management system and service architecture.

Rolis is a leading Russian developer of digital solutions for cargo logistics and specialized software for container and multifunctional terminals.

Delo is a Russian transport and logistics holding that owns and manages a network of sea and rail container terminals, its own fleet, and a fleet of containers and fitting platforms. Sergei Shishkarev, the founder of the holding, owns 51%. The other 49% belongs to the Rosatom state corporation.

The transport and logistics business of Delo Group includes the Transcontainer intermodal container operator and the Ruscon multimodal transport operator. They are leaders in stevedoring with DeloPorts holding and the leading operator of container terminals with Global Ports. In the shipping, they own Sakhalin Shipping Company (SASCO), one of the largest shipping companies in Russia.
