Ukrainian PM Shmygal invites Pope to visit Ukraine

MOSCOW. April 27 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal invited Pope Francis to visit Ukraine while speaking at a press conference concluding his working visit to Italy on Thursday, Ukrainian media reported.

In commenting on his meeting with the pope and the Vatican's secretary of state, Shmygal said they also discussed the Ukrainian vision of a crisis settlement, which Kiev refers to as President Vladimir Zelensky's peace formula.
