Guterres' letter to Putin regarding extension of grain deal being analyzed - Peskov

MOSCOW. April 26 (Interfax) - A letter from UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres regarding extension of the Black Sea Grain Initiative has been passed to Russian President Vladimir Putin and is being analyzed, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"Yes, it has been delivered through diplomatic channels," Peskov said in response to a question on the matter. "It is being analyzed," he said

As reported earlier, Guterres handed the letter to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who arrived at the UN headquarters on Monday.
