Russia has not invited foreign leaders to May 9 celebrations - Peskov
MOSCOW. April 24 (Interfax) - Foreign guests have not been invited to the May 9 celebrations this year, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
Only Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, who will be visiting Russia at that time, will attend the celebrations, he said.
"There were no special invitations this year. It's not an anniversary," he said.
"The Kyrgyz president will be visiting [Russia] ahead of [May 9 events] this year. And because he will be here right before [the event], he of course has decided to stay for the parade," Peskov said.
