Eurasian intergovernmental council to meet in Sochi on June 7-9
MINSK. April 21 (Interfax) - The Eurasian intergovernmental council is due to meet in Sochi on June 7-9, a spokesperson for the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) said.
"Prime ministers will hear information on the process of eliminating barriers to EAEU [Eurasian Economic Union] internal markets, a report on the creation and development of East-West and North-South transport infrastructure in the EAEU states, including in the framework of a link with the China's Belt and Road initiative, an annual report on the state of competition in cross-border markets and measures to prevent violation of the general competition rules there," Iya Malkina was quoted by the BelTA state news agency as telling a briefing on Friday after the EEC Council's meeting in Moscow on April 20-21.
"Also on the agenda is a 2023-2025 plan of measures to develop e-paperwork at EAEU maritime checkpoints, monitoring an assessment of the regulatory effect on EEC draft resolutions in 2022, and other topics," she said.
