Gett Taxi service liquidates its Russian legal entity

MOSCOW. April 21 (Interfax) - The Gett taxi ordering service is liquidating Gettaxi Rus LLC, its Russian legal entity; the decision was published on the Fedresurs site on Friday.

On April 18, the sole owner of the company decided to liquidate. The company is owned by the Cypriot Dooboo Holding Ltd., whose parent company is GT Gettaxi Ltd.

The annual report from Gettaxi Rus notes that in March 2022, the management of the parent company decided to terminate the operating activities of the company, which ended at the close of May business last year.

Starting June 1, Gett stopped supporting and operating the mobile app for its drivers in Russia.

Earlier it was reported that Russia provided about 17% of the company's gross profit.

At the end of 2022, the revenue of Gettaxi Rus LLC totaled 1.35 billion rubles, which is 73% lower than in 2021. At the same time, the company had a net profit of 568.7 million rubles against a loss of 534.5 million rubles in 2021.
