Kiev terminates land lease agreement with Russian embassy - city mayor

MOSCOW. April 21 (Interfax) - The Kiev City Council has terminated the Russian embassy's deal to lease land in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klichko said.

"Today [on Thursday], the Kiev City Council terminated the land lease agreement with the embassy of the Russian Federation, and has also appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine regarding the return of the property of the 'diplomatic mission' to the Ukrainian state," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Klichko as saying in a social media post.
