St. Petersburg court fines organization for LGBT propaganda ad
ST. PETERSBURG. April 20 (Interfax) - Smolninsky district court in St. Petersburg has fined a business for propagating non-traditional relations, the city courts' joint press service said on Thursday.
OOO Sportex, a limited liability company, was fined one million rubles, the service said.
The protocol had been compiled under the Administrative Code article which bans online propaganda of untraditional sexual relations and/or preferences, and gender change. According to it, the authorities saw the offense in the company's advertisement.
The company's representative did not admit guilt.
