Analysts slightly improve Russian inflation forecast for 2023, expect it near 5.9% - CBR

MOSCOW. April 20 (Interfax) - According to the Central Bank of Russia (CBR) macroeconomic forecast for April, analysts have revised their 2023 inflation forecast down slightly from 5.9% to 6% following surveys carried out in March, the regulator said in a statement.

Overall, the inflation forecasts of professional analysts remained almost unchanged in March-April 2023, the CBR said.

Economists' inflation forecasts for 2024 and 2025 remained near 4%.
