Ukraine, Kuwait sign memorandum on allotment of $1 million for power generators - Ukrainian foreign ministry

MOSCOW. April 19 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, currently on a visit to Kuwait, and his Kuwaiti counterpart Salem al-Sabah have signed a memorandum on the allotment of $1 million for power generators on Tuesday, the press service for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.

"At the start of negotiations the sides have signed a memorandum by which the Kuwaiti government will allot $1 million for the purchase of power generators for Ukraine to be delivered in the near future," the Ukrainian media quoted the ministry as saying.

Kuleba noted that "the heavy-duty generators to be supplied under the new initiative will help us maintain sustainability."

Kuleba invited Kuwait to join the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian program.

Kuwait's participation in economic projects in Ukraine was an important topic of the negotiations.
