Inter RAO begins electricity deliveries to Kyrgyzstan, currently delivering up to 400 MW/ hour

MOSCOW. April 17 (Interfax) - Inter RAO has begun supplying electricity from the unified energy system (UES) of Russia to the energy system of Kyrgyzstan through Kazakhstan on April 15, the Russian energy company said.

The total planned volume of supply for the period April 2023 to March 2024 is about 900 million kWh, the statement said.

Supply currently stands at up to 400 MW per hour. The main factor determining the volume of supply is the throughput capacity (transit) of power grids in Kazakhstan energy system, the Russian company said.
