Russia's quota on fertilizer exports could reach 18 mln tonnes in June-Nov

MOSCOW. April 14 (Interfax) - Russia's Industry and Trade Ministry has proposed to set a quota of 17.94 million tonnes for exporting nitrogen and compound fertilizer from June 1 to November 30, 2023.

The corresponding government draft resolution, as prepared by the ministry, has been posted on regulation.gov.ru.

The urea quota (customs commodity codes 3102 10 100 0, 3102 10 900 0), according to the draft resolution, will amount to 6 million tonnes, UAN (code 3102 80 000 0) - 1.27 million tonnes, NPK (codes 3105 20 100 0, 3105 20 900 0) - 3.73 million tonnes, MAP (code 3105 40 000 0) - 1.99 million tonnes, and nitrophosphates (code 3105 59000 0) - 698,550 tonnes.

The ammonium nitrate quota (codes 3102 30 100 0, 3102 30 900 0) will be 4.23 million tonnes.

The fertilizer export quota is 12.6 million tonnes from January 1 through May 31.
