Felix Yevtushenkov resigns from Ozon's board of directors amid UK sanctions

MOSCOW. April 13 (Interfax) - Felix Yevtushenkov, who has come under UK personal sanctions, has resigned from the board of directors of Ozon (MOEX:OZON), the Rusisan online retailer said in a statement on Thursday.

Ozon said Yevtushenkov stepped down from the board on April 11. His seat will remain empty for the near future.

The fact that Britain had imposed sanctions against the family members of Vladimir Yevtushenkov, the largest shareholder in PJSC AFK Sistema , including against Felix Yevtushenkov, became known on April 12.

Felix Yevtushenkov joined Ozon's board of directors in March 2022, replacing Vladimir Chirakhov, Sistema's CEO at the time.

At the time the UK sanctions were imposed, he also chaired the boards of mobile provider MTS and served on the board of power grid company BPGC. These two companies, like Ozon, are Sistema portfolio companies.
