Belarus ready to manufacture components for Russian planes - Lukashenko
MINSK. April 13 (Interfax) - Belarus is ready to arrange the production of components for Russian planes, President Alexander Lukashenko said at a meeting with head of Russia's internal republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
The Kazan Aircraft Production Association has restarted mass production of the Tupolev Tu-214 passenger jet, and Belarus stands ready to launch production of a number of components for this plane at the remaining manufacturing facilities, the BelTA state news agency quoted Lukashenko as saying.
