Zelensky U.S. businessman Howard Buffett discuss assistance for Ukraine

MOSCOW. April 12 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky discussed assistance provided to Ukraine with American businessman and philanthropist Howard Buffett.

"We discussed assistance to our state," Ukrainian media quoted Zelensky as writing on his social account.

Zelensky said he informed Buffett of steps being made by Ukrainian authorities to support society and the business community.

"I am grateful to Howard Buffett for supporting the Ukrainian people! In particular, for the implementation of the kitchen factory project, which is part of the school meals reform, as well as the assistance in the implementation of the grain initiative, support for demining, purchase of generators and elimination of the consequences of [the damage caused to] the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine," Zelensky said.
