"The sketch design will be ready in the summer of this year, but today the basic parameters and shape of the station, the stages of its creation are already well known to us, and I will report to you about it during today's talk," Borisov told Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"The new orbit, the new radiation environment will allow us to advance further and master the technologies that will be required for deep space, in particular for the lunar program," the Roscosmos head said.

Roscosmos First Deputy General Director Andrei Yelchaninov said in an interview with Interfax on April 10 that the construction of the prospective Russian space station is tentatively estimated at over 600 billion rubles.
