Ukraine boosting economic cooperation with Italy, establishes warm relations with India - Zelensky's office head

MOSCOW. April 12 (Interfax) - Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Yermak held a conversation via videoconference with Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso.

"I thanked him for the support and assistance to Ukraine. We are very interested in investment and cooperation with Italy to rebuild Ukraine, providing opportunities for our people to open businesses and create new jobs," Ukrainian media quoted Yermak's post on social media on Tuesday evening.

He noted that the focus of the negotiations was to support Ukrainian manufacturers and exporters. "We came to a preliminary agreement on the creation and promotion of the Made in Ukraine national brand on the European market with the support of Italian representatives of small and medium-sized businesses," the President's Office head said.

Yermak said that Ukraine is promising for Italian businessmen in terms of investments in certain industries and extraction of natural resources.

Yermak also spoke of relations with India, the Ukrainian media reported. "We have managed to have warm diplomatic relations with India," he said on social media.

He also spoke out in favor of the United Nations reform. "Mr. Modi's [Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi] campaign for UN reform deserves to be a success," Yermak said.
