ASTANA. April 11 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan will supply 125,000 tonnes of oil via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan or BTC pipeline in April, Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister - Trade and Integration Minister Serik Zhumangarin said.

"The oil transportation via the BTC began in March. The first two tankers have already departed carrying 20,000 tonnes. The supply estimates for April stand at 125,000 tonnes," Zhumangarin told reporters on Tuesday.

He said Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan earlier reached an agreement to transport 1.5 million tonnes of oil in 2023 through the BTC pipeline.
