KazMunayGas to exercise early redemption option on $500 mln bonds

ASTANA. April 11 (Interfax) - KazMunayGas is exercising an option to redeem $500 million of 4.75% bonds on April 26, 2023, Kazakhstan's national oil and gas company said.

The bonds mature on April 24, 2025.

Bondholders will receive the aggregate principal amount, accrued interest and a make-whole premium.

"The amount of the accrued amount and the make-whole premium will be separately communicated to noteholders by the issuer not less than two business days prior to the call settlement date," KazMunayGas said.

The bonds were placed in 2020 on KASE and the London Stock Exchange.
