Ukrainian Railways suspends transportation of agricultural products to Poland

MOSCOW. April 11 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Railways has suspended cargo transportation to Poland, the Ukrainian media said with the reference to the corporate website.

As reported, the convention on cargo transportation to the Szczecin Port Central station (Poland) took effect on April 9. For instance, there is a ban on accepting cargo for the Polish rail operator PKP Cargo.

Restrictions apply to wheat, meslin, rye, barley, oats, corn, rice, grain sorghum, buckwheat, millet and canary seeds, cereals, dextrin and modified starches, adhesives based on them, etc.

It was noted that the convention would be in effect until further notice.
