MOSCOW. April 10 (Interfax) - The main legal entities of the OBI hypermarket chain in Russia have passed to a new owner, JSC Allonge, according to data from the SPARK-Interfax analytical system.

JSC Allonge became the owner of 100% of the five legal entities associated with OBI: OBI FTs LLC; Sdelai Svoimi Rukami LLC; Obi Pryamoi Import i Postavki LLC; Sdelai Svoimi Rukami Severo-Zapad LLC; and Sdelai Svoimi Rukami - Kazan LLC. The transactions were completed on April 9.

Prior to this transaction, 90% of four of these companies belonged to Modul-2 LLC, and 10% belonged to Valid Korchagin. In one company, Sdelai Svoimi Rukami-Kazan LLC, 58% belonged to Modul-2 LLC, and 42% to OBI FTs LLC.

Allonge is headed by Maryana Gilyasova. She is also the general director and sole owner of Sindika-O Trade Complex LLC, one of the legal entities of the Sindika holding, which is owned by the former president of Kabardino-Balkaria and senator, Arsen Kanokov.

This is the fourth change of the chain's owners in less than a year. Prior to the series of sales, the chain belonged to the German OBI, which in April 2022 withdrew its business from the Russian market.
