Former head of Samruk-Kazyna wealth fund Satkaliyev appointed head of Kazakh Energy Ministry
ASTANA. April 4 (Interfax) - Almasadam Satkaliyev has been appointed Kazakhstan's Energy Minister, with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev having signed the corresponding decree, and the text of said decree has been published on the president's website.
Satkaliyev has replaced Bolat Akchulakov, who has been appointed a presidential adviser, in the position.
Satkaliyev had headed the National Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna for the past two years.
