Ukraine needs hundreds of billions of U.S. dollars for recovery - Zelensky

MOSCOW. April 4 (Interfax) - Ukraine needs hundreds of billions of U.S. dollars for a speedy recovery, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said.

"I am not aware of the actual volume of funding. I can't tell you the overall amount of money that we need. Of course, we're talking about hundreds of billions," Ukrainian media quoted Zelensky as saying.

Ukraine is thinking not only about money now, Zelensky said. "We're thinking not only about money. We should think about our mental health, the environment - what to do about that," he said.

"We need money for a speedy recovery. At present, we give all the money we have to the army, for salaries, and we are providing support to teachers and doctors," Zelensky said.
