Inflation in Kazakhstan slowed to 0.9% in March

ASTANA. April 3 (Interfax) - Inflation in Kazakhstan slowed to 0.9% in March from 1.3% in February 2023, the National Statistics Bureau of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms said.

Food prices went up 1.1% and nonfood prices and service charges rose 0.8%.

Annual inflation was 18.1%. Food prices went up 20.5% in annual terms in March, non-food prices 8.1% and service charges 14.4%.

Inflation was 20.3% in 2022.
