Over 89,000 Ukrainian refugees arrive in Belarus since Feb 24, 2022
MINSK. March 31 (Interfax) - Over 14,500 Ukrainian citizens have arrived in Belarus in 2023, while the total number of arrivals since February 24, 2022, has topped 89,000, the Belarusian State Border Committee said on Friday.
"A total of 14,682 Ukrainian citizens have arrived in our country since the beginning of this year, including 10,641 via Poland, 2,914 via Lithuania and 1,127 via Latvia," the committee said.
"In all, 89,386 Ukrainian citizens have arrived in the Republic of Belarus from the Ukrainian territory since February 24, 2022, including 15,890 across the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, 57,146 by transit via Poland, 13,064 via Lithuania, and 3,286 via Latvia," it said.
